Player(s) must be 13+ to participate in this Rocket League tournament. This tournament is set for the GCC Region. Players who are younger than 21 years require their parental consent to register for the tournament.

    2. Players may be requested to provide photo ID proof. Players without valid ID proof will be disqualified and will forfeit any prize winnings
    3. The winning player will be required to come on the Live stream for a video interview on camera.

Players are responsible for their own hardware, software and internet connection. There will be no rescheduling of matches or pausing because of technical issues.

    • If any technical issues are to occur during a match, players are given 2 pause option to fix connection issue.
    • If a player cannot play due to technical issues during a match, said player will forfeit the match.
1.3 game version

All players must install the newest version of the game in order to participate in Gamers Hub Middle East tournaments. Updates must be installed before the tournament starts, so delays will be at a minimum.

1.4. Disqualification

To keep tournaments as efficient as possible, Gamers Hub Middle East reserves the right to disqualify players. This will only be done in cases where a player purposefully stalls or attempts to block another player. In some scenarios both players may be affected.

Any player found to be using a known exploit will forfeit their game upon the first occurrence of the exploit.

If the player is found to use another known exploit for a second time and it is determined to have been done on purpose they will be removed from the event and barred from any future events.

Betting during any Gamers Hub Middle East event (by a player, player, or on behalf of anyone associated with the player) is off limits.

Those partaking will be disqualified from the event in question and will receive a minimum of 6 months ban.

2. Rocket League Tournament Rules

  • Default Arena: DFH Stadium (players can mutually agree on a different arena)
  • Server: Middle-East (players can mutually agree on a different servers)
2.1 No Show

If your opponent does not show after 15 minutes (Match scehdule + 15 minutes), the admin can decide whether to wait any further or to disqualify the player. Exceptions can be made in case the player has requested the admin to come late beforehand or if there is a valid reason for the delay.

2.2 Forfeit

Participants can choose to forfeit a match if they wish. Forfeiting will result in loss of the match.

2.3 Protests

If a match was incorrectly reported by your opponents, your team has 10 minutes to protest the match. Match protests must include media evidence clearly showing the results of the match/series. Players are responsible for providing proof of match results in case of disputes.

3. Match Rules

3.1. Arenas

“DFH Stadium” will be the default arena for every game. Players can choose to play a different arena as long as both teams mutually agree. Results will not be overturned because of map selection after a match has already been played, unless map has a known bug.

3.2. Private Match Create/Join Procedure
    • Admin creates a Name & Password for players to enter
    • Participants select “Play Online” ⇒ select “Join Private Match”
    • Players enter the Name & Password communicated by the Admin
    • All players must be in the private match lobby before selecting teams..
    • The match will then begin.
3.3. Re-host

A rehost can only be played with prior admin approval. Please contact an admin via Whatsapp or discord. In a re-hosted game each participant must choose the same vehicle as they picked at the start of the the original match. Disconnects and lag issues will only qualify for a re-host if the issue occurs the within the first 30 seconds of the game, and no goals have been scored. Matches will not be re-hosted because of map or team color selection after it has already been played, less map has a known bug.

4. Others

4.1 Communication & Support

Please use Discord and Whatsapp, for any assistance during the matches. GHME Discord is the main communication tool for admins to communicate to players through matchchat during the match.

4.2 Admins

All participants must adhere to the decisions and rules of the tournament organizers, admins, and referees. All decisions are final, except in cases where the option to appeal is clearly stated. Conversations, either verbal or written, between organizers, admins, or referees, and participants are confidential. Publicly posting or sharing these conversations with outside parties is strictly forbidden, unless permission is obtained.

2. Code of Conduct

Every participant has to behave with respect towards any and every GHME staff, partners, viewers and other players. Participants are requested to represent esports, and the tournament honorably. This applies to in-game behavior, chats, comments and other form of media communication. Players must also conduct themselves according to the following values:

  • Compassion: treat others as you would be treated.
  • Integrity: be honest, be committed, play fair.
  • Respect: show respect all other humans, including teammates, competitors, and event staff.
  • Courage: be courageous in competition and in standing up for what is right.

Participants must NOT engage in harassment or hate speech in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Hate speech, offensive behavior, or verbal abuse related to sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, or religion.
  • Stalking or intimidation (physically or online).
  • Spamming, raiding, hijacking, or inciting disruption of streams or social media.
  • Posting or threatening to post other people’s personally identifying information (“doxing”).
  • Unwelcome sexual attention. This includes, unwelcome sexualized comments, jokes, and sexual advances.
  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.

Violation of this Code of Conduct will result in players and even teams to receive warnings. In the case of repeat or extreme violations, penalties may include disqualification, or banning from future Gamers Hub Middle East events.

2.1 Insults and offensive behaviour

All insults that happen during a Gamers Hub Middle East matches, may be punished. This includes in-game chat of the corresponding game, any and all of GHME’s social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and offline events. Multiple warnings and online user ban may be given out depending on the incident and frequency of the insult.

Penalties are no longer limited to warnings and barrages, but may also contain the following depending on the incident, location and frequency of the insult:

Severe incidents including, but not limited to the following points, may be punished in other ways:

    • Extremist statements
    • Threat of violence
    • Sexual harassment
    • Stalking
    • Severe insults
    • Pornographic linkings
2.2 Spamming

The excessive posting of futile, annoying or offensive contributions within Gamers Hub Middle East online and offline platform is considered as spamming. Spamming on the website, discord and other GHME known means of communication (social media comment sections, match comments, player comments, support pages, etc) will be penalized / given warnings, muted and banned.

3. Matches, competitions, meetings

Games will be facilitated by a GHME staff / game admin. Matches that are not played with a GHME admin will be considered fake matches and will result in disqualification.

Players are not allowed to bet on matches in this tournament, especially betting against themselves. This will result in the player and the team being banned from the tournament.

In case of any dispute regarding any issue, the final decision will be made by the admin. Game Admin has the power to refute any rule depending on the situation at hand.

Any and all forms of cheating are strictly forbidden. Any attempt to do so is direct disqualification with player / team ban.

3.1 Game / client

Any programs which are not part of the original game, including custom-data and modifications, are not allowed in any tournament. All external voice programs such as Teamspeak, Discord etc, are allowed. Programs that provide an advantage during game play are not permitted. Over all, any programs that change the way the game and the playing field are forbidden.

3.2 In-game behavior
3.2.1 Sportsmanship 

All participants are obligated to remain sportsmanlike. GHME Admins has the rights to disqualify a team that has been seen to be unsportsmanlike.

3.2.2 Insults & harassments

All participants are obligated to remain sportsmanlike. Any form of harassment will not be tolerated.

3.3 Player/Team streaming

Participants are allowed to stream provided that the stream has a 3 minute delay added to the settings.

    • A player name must be unique. Any use of profanity and unnecessary slander, Gamers Hub Middle East reserves the right to refuse the team’s registration.
    • A player can change their team name only twice throughout the duration of this tournament. Any more than two, tournament admin will decide.
